Terms
Last updated 23 October 2026
This page summarises my standard agreement. Each project is governed by the signed agreement or statement of work, which takes priority over this page.
Payment
- Projects start with a 50% deposit. The balance is due before final, unwatermarked files.
- Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
- Rush delivery in under half the usual time adds 25%.
- An extra review round costs 10% of the item, minimum $20.
- Every video delivery includes SRT and VTT caption files at no extra cost.
- Variations of a delivered piece (a new hook, text, colour or end card, for example for A/B tests) cost 25% of the item each. A new concept is priced as a new piece.
- Arabic or Hebrew translation is done by a licensed translator and billed at cost plus 15%.
If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue, I pause work until it is paid.
Ownership
All rights in the finished deliverables pass to you when they are paid in full. My pre-existing templates, scripts and tools remain mine, and you receive a permanent licence to use them as part of your deliverables. Third-party music, footage and fonts are licensed under their own terms, listed in the licence record I deliver.
Reviews and changes
Each project includes the review rounds stated in your quote. A round is one combined set of comments from your named approver. Changes to something you have already approved, or a new brief, are quoted as a change order before I start them.
Cancellation
- Before you approve the storyboard: I keep the deposit.
- After storyboard approval: 75% of the project fee.
- After animation starts: 100% of the stages reached.
Portfolio and confidentiality
I keep your materials confidential and show your work only with your written permission. White-label work is never shown without it.
AI and likeness
I tell you which steps use AI tools. I never clone a voice or face without written consent from the person.
Governing law
For UAE clients, disputes go to the DIFC Courts. For everyone else, Indian law applies, with arbitration seated in India, conducted in English and by video conference where possible. Larger clients may use their own contract if it keeps my ownership-on-payment and cancellation terms.
